Unfortunately not a good experience! Charged £120 to code my towbar electronics onto the Octavia, but only managed part of the job. Went back with the trailer on in case that helped, but still not completed. Felt a guinea pig, where they were trying to work out how to do it, at my expense. Another specialist got it sorted, whilst doing some other work...

They managed to fit me in a short notice for brake pad / disk replacement on my Octavia Vrs which threw a warning light whilst on holiday. The work was completed by knowledgeable technician (who owned a similar car) to a high standard and reasonable price whilst we went for a walk in the local area. Recommended

Minimum tyre tread levels
It’s a legal requirement to have a tyre tread depth of at least 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of your tyre. Wear and tear will naturally reduce that.
Here’s a quick tip to find out if your tyres are legal:
Place a 20p into the lowest tread depth of your tyre. If you can’t see it, you’re good to go. Use that 20p to treat yourself.
However, if you can see the outer rim sticking out, your tread is less than 3mm. You need to get your tyres changed or you’re driving illegally.
I can’t find my locking wheel nut - what should I do?
Bring your vehicle to Bowydd Garage. With specialist tooling, it’s easy to remove your wheels if you can’t find your locking wheel nut.
If you’re unsure, please don’t do it yourself. You can quickly cause a lot of expensive damage.
So, for the sake of a few minutes, we highly recommend you pop in to see us if you can’t find your locking wheel nut.
